EpiLasik

Much like LASIK and LASEK eye surgeries, Epi-LASIK appears to incorporate both ideas. Epi-LASIK cuts a flap on the corneal surface of the eye (which will then act as a natural bandage for the eye after the procedure), followed by the laser treatment. Epi-LASIK surgery is different, however, because the flap that is cut is so ultra-thin that is does not actually go through the cornea. Epi-LASIK is also different because it does not use alcohol when cutting or holding the flap, preventing any toxicity from alcohol.
