Since its creation in 1988, ETC’s aim has always been to offer original English theatre that is stylistically and thematically appropriate to the age of the audience as well as being pedagogically valid to their level of English. We offer a “made to measure” English speaking educational theatre for students of English that is enjoyable, interactive and stimulating.
We write, rehearse and perform all our plays with the age, the level of English and the interests of our different audiences in mind .We choose themes and subjects for our plays according to the age and taste of the audience. The age determines the style of each particular play, the level of English defines the language we use.
Our actors are all professional native speaking actors and are trained to adapt and vary their performance according to the audience’s reactions. Although the style of our plays varies they all have one thing in common: they are created to involve the audience - whether emotionally, physically or verbally or, most frequently, all three at the same time.
