iEFL: Online EFL / ESL Lessons

iEFL was founded in April of 2004 by me, Curt Wold. I've been teaching English for about 5 years now and have taught in Japan and Mexico. I received my MA TESOL from St. Michael's University in 2002.
iEFL is an attempt to change and improve upon the way teaching materials are created and distributed. Currently, only a select few are able to have their work published and sold. Many of these writers are asked to create materials that can be used anywhere and everywhere in the world. In my opinion, this has led to cookie cutter textbooks that work o.k. with our students, but not as well as they could and should work.
Of course, it's not possible for a publisher to publish books that would be most effective for each group of students' needs, it would just cost too much. Neither is it possible for publishers to accept and publish materials from every teacher with a good lesson idea.
