Energy First
Description
Energy First is the Energy Saving Trust's Local Authority Support Programme (LASP) for Northern Ireland. Formerly operating in the Belfast area Energy First has recently been rolled out to cover all 26 Council areas.
The Department of Environment, Food and Rural Affairs fund the UK wide programme through the Energy Saving Trust. It aims to raise awareness and foster greater participation in energy efficiency programmes at a local level.
In Belfast the Local Authority Support Programme is managed by Bryson House and runs alongside Belfast Energy Efficiency Advice Centre and the Western Regional Energy Agency and Network in Enniskillen.
