Starting in August 2004, Dr. Hitt worked for 8 months as Managing Editor for hematology/oncology at a medical education company. This was an excellent learning experience with a great company, but she quickly began to miss freelancing, and returned where she left off in April 2005.
Dr. Hitt works out of her home office in Marietta, GA. She is married to Michael Hitt, a police officer and author of history books. That adorable toddler on the home page is her daughter Madeleine Rose, who will be 3 years old in September 2006.
