Description
The EMIS National User Group is run by a committee of dedicated and enthusiastic people, all involved in Primary Medical Care in one form or another. Members are elected to serve on the Committee at the annual conference and any member of the NUG is eligible to stand for election. The NUG is a registered charity and the committee members are the sole trustees.
The NUG committee members are based all over the country and meet six times a year to discuss NUG activities. All members play an active role, using their individual skills and knowledge to provide invaluable support and service to all members.
As well as the committee the NUG also has an office based in Gateshead , Tyne and Wear which employs three members of staff. It is the office’s responsibility to ensure smooth running of the User Group and provide support to the committee.
