About the Emerald Bank Heritage Farm at Shepparton
In 1993, Lloyd and Glenice Mawson on a trip to Enland took time out to visit the ancestoral home of the Mawson family.
Much to their delight, not only were they able to meet some ancestors, but were able to visit the original family home/farm, Emerald Bank. It was after this visit the Mawson owned property in Melbourne Road was named.
