Description
This is a temporary ad-hoc kind of task. The idea is to do this enough that we can see the potential benefits for dev to get involved and automate the parts they can.
What we're doing is looking for anon edits to company contact information. When we find that, we make significant edits to the page, making the page better. Then we email the company telling them what we did, and asking them to take a look and offer them help for the next step.
week one reflection
- we might be skipping steps in our step by step personal invitation deal
- the edit we're making is probably right, but the first email to them needs to be more basic, even without history and diff and all that - just come back to the page
week two changes
- let's not do any of the formatting we've been doing (titles/logos/etc). Let's just add text highlighting something that's missing about this website.
- let's simplify the email we send to this (can even change the email signature to this to allow skipping the copy/paste step):
