Description
Since its inception in 2000, Elixir Press has sponsored an annual poetry book contest, selecting at least two entries each year for publication.
Also beginning in 2003, the press will sponsor the Elixir Press Chapbook Competition. Elixir expects to publish at least one poetry and one fiction chapbook a year.
Dana Curtis is the founder and Editor-in-Chief of Elixir Press. Her own book, The Body's Response to Famine , won Pavement Saw Press's 1999 Transcontinental Poetry Award. She has three prize-winning poetry chapbooks in print, and is widely published in literary magazines.
