My interest in acupuncture began with an introductory course to classical Chinese acupuncture while a chartered physiotherapist in the N.H.S. I later completed a longer course with the British Academy of Western Medical Acupuncture and qualified with a Licentiate in Acupuncture. My membership entails continuous professional development – attending lectures and courses to extend and update my knowledge, such as obstetric acupuncture, the B.A.W.M.A.
