Electric Scooter City started in the summer of 2003, when a neighbor leant me (Rich Sathoff, owner) an electric scooter when he went to Europe. I had so much fun using it to go to the grocery store, dinner, happy hour, and just riding it, that I bought a Currie Phat Flyer of my own. When I needed some repairs done, there was no-one available locally to do so and sending a scooter back through the mail was impractical.
