has been operating on the market for over fifty years. At present the company is quoted at the Stock Exchange and belongs to a strong capital group ANIMEX, whose strategic investor is the concern Smithfield Food Inc. It specialises in the slaughter and the production of turkey and goose meat, complying with the European quality standards. In 1999 Ekodrob started production in a new plant, a modern administration and production complex of the total area of 14100 sq. m., built according to the world standards.
The products of the plant are sold on the Polish market through a network of super- and hypermarkets, discount shops and large grocery wholesalers, owing to whom the products from Iława can be found in different regions of Poland. Export is realised in co-operation with business partners from the European Union (England, Germany, Italy, France and Belgium) as well as Russia and China.
