Edrickcan LaQuan was born in St. Louis, Mo. where she began her modeling career participating in small fashion shows at local colleges and churches. She relocated to Miami, Florida where she began her professional career as a performer. She worked for The Artist Formerly Known as Prince in his Miami based night club, Glam Slam, in South Beach. She also performed with Patti Labelle as one of her back up dancers in Super Bowl XXIX.
