Description
ECOFRUT is an Ecuadorian snack company devoted to the production of plantain chips. Its modern processing plant, located near the port city of Guayaquil, Ecuador, was designed by an international snack consulting group based in Texas.
The plant is equipped with the latest technology from leading manufacturers of quality equipment for the snack industry. Processing capacity currently averages 120 Kg/Hr (264 Lb/Hr) of finished, premium quality chips.
Bounded by Colombia in the North and Perú in the South, the Republic of Ecuador is located in the Northwest coast of South America. The Galapagos Islands, 1,000 Km (625 miles) off the Pacific coast, are also part of Ecuador. In spite of its small area (256,370 square Km), Ecuador is blessed with a wide variety of geography, climate, flora and fauna.
