Messengers have come in truth.
In the past, people were quite willing and often eager to march off to battle for the “one and only truth."
Now, with plasma TVs, vibrating leather recliners, and surround sound systems, there just no longer seemed to be a good reason even to get off the couch.
In the moments when they found their consciousness diverted from the TV set, the people of earth comforted themselves with a kind of truthiness that was almost as believable as fiction.
Will the people of earth turn off their shows and embrace these messengers from the heavens?
