Join ECAC-SIDA
If you are employed in the athletic communications/sports information office at a school that maintains membership in the Eastern College Athletic Conference, you and your fellow staffers are automatically granted membership in ECAC-SIDA (your dues are covered by your institution as part of its membership fee structure with the ECAC).
However, ECAC-SIDA membership is not limited to schools within the ECAC. If your school is not affiliated with the ECAC, or you work for an institution outside the ECAC region, you are invited to join forces with your fellow athletic communications professionals via membership in ECAC-SIDA. An annual membership costs $35 for active members and $10 for students. Click here (PDF file) to print a membership application.
There are countless benefits to being a member of ECAC-SIDA, both professionally and personally. In addition to having the opportunity to revisit personal relationships and share athletic communication ideas with your fellow public relations professionals at our organization’s annual workshop, there are other benefits available throughout the academic year.
