Eatontown Democratic Club
Description
Eatontown was originally established as a small colonial farm community over 300 years ago and has evolved into the dynamic, busy community we live in today. While out-of-towners know Eatontown for its large commercial and industrial areas, its residents know it as a good place to live, with many fine residential areas.
The Eatontown Democratic Club is a part of this long, rich history within the Borough of Eatontown. The Club exists to provide a forum for citizens of the town to express their concerns, wants and needs to the Democratic members of the governing body. The goal of our Democratic Mayor and Council members is to maintain the best quality of life - for the most people - at a reasonable cost that is also fiscally responsible. Our meetings are open to all eligible and registered voters residing in town. The annual dues for membership in the Club are $10 for a single and $15 for a family membership. Meetings are held monthly on the
The current Democratic Mayor and Council members most often attend the meetings to bring club members up to date on the current business of the Borough Council. Members also have an opportunity to express their opinions or ask questions. The activities of the Club are discussed and planned such as: voter registration drives, fundraisers, campaigns, etc. Other Democratic leaders frequently address the Club also. Coffee and light refreshments are served during a casual social session.
