Ethics and Privacy at Eastern Professional Services Pty Ltd
Eastern Professional Services conducts all of its work according to the Code of Ethics of the Australian Psychological Society, which has strict provisions relating to confidentiality, privacy, research practices, psychological counselling and therapy, and psychological assessment. Under the Code, any information collected by Eastern Professional Services is considered to be confidential unless otherwise agreed, unless there is a legal requirement to provide the information, or unless keeping the information private would cause actual harm (either to the person who provided the information or to another person).
Eastern Professional Services strives to apply strong ethical guidelines to its work, and deals honestly with clients at all times. We do not suppress or modify results, conclusions, or discussion of research results for reasons other than sound scientific ones.
