How we started: East Coast Fresh Cuts started as a local supplier of fresh-cut fruits and vegetables to the Baltimore-Washington D.C. market back in 1990. The company originally shared a stall on the Maryland Wholesale Produce Market in Jessup, Maryland, with another produce distributor. Our first venture into the fresh-cut arena started with approximately seven employees who sliced and bagged onions as an added convenience to their customers.
