Polarity Therapy employs a blend of both eastern and western concepts of health. It recognizes, along with Chinese and Ayurvedic medicine, that the human body has an energetic force (qi or prana) that circulates within the body to perform vital life functions. All our life processes depend on how we manage this energy.
Science recognizes that everything we see is made of atoms, including the human body, with a positive, negative, and neutral energy field. If the energy in the body becomes blocked from stress, accident, or emotional upset, then pain and disease can be the result. Polarity Therapy harmonizes the body by releasing these energetic blocks through hands-on manipulation so that it can return to its natural healthy state.
The word Ayurveda is Sanskrit that literally translates as the "science of life" and is India's traditional, natural system of medicine that has been practiced for more than five thousand years.
