About Dynex
Dynex was founded in 1977 as a small Privately owned company operating just a single extrude, at a small industrial site in Auckland. Based on the founding principle to: “Provide solutions for customers needing to develop extruded plastic profiles at minimum costs”, Dynex has experienced significant growth. This success has been so profound that the company that started operating just a single extruder now employs over 100 full-time staff in an operation that includes more than 25 extrusion lines at the latest premises at Rosebank Road in Avondale, Auckland.
Over the years Dynex has acquired several other extrusion companies in Auckland and Wellington. The “South Shop”, added in 1990, provides a distribution outlet for customers in the South Island. In 1992 Dynex Extrusions Ltd became a subsidiary of Marley NZ LTD, itself part of the Aliaxis group of companies. This relationship has allowed Dynex to draw on the knowledge, experience and technical skills of both Marley and the Aliaxis’ international operation while maintaining the flexibility to meet the widely varying needs of its customers.
Dynex already exports products throughout the Pacific region; either as finished products or as components in the products of other New Zealand manufacturers dn seeks to continue growth in this area. Dynex seeks to continue their commitment to meeting the need so the customers in New Zealand and around the world through innovative technology, quality and realistic costs.
