- Dynatec's emergence into a growing mining company and leading provider of mining and metallurgical technology services began in 1980 when the Company was founded as Dynatec Mining Limited. In 1988, the Company became known as Dynatec International Limited, which included two principal divisions, Dynatec Mining Limited and Tonto Drilling Services. In 1997, the Company acquired SICI technologies, the highly reputed Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta based company that specializes in hydrometallurgical technologies. That same year, Dynatec Corporation was created and, through an initial public offering, became a public company with commons shares listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
