The Executive Officer is responsible for the smooth running of the Trust's affairs and provides administrative support to the Trustees, liasion, public relations and marketing of the Trust.
About the Trust
In January 2001, the Dame Vera Lynn Trust for Children with Cerebral Palsy was founded, following the announcement by the UK national charity Scope that it would be unable to continue funding the School for Parents at Ingfield Manor. An appeal was launched to save the service from closure and raise enough funds to cover one year’s running costs. This was successfully accomplished within a few months.
With full responsibility for the School for Parents, the Trust now focuses on the longer term, and needs to raise £1.25 Million required to secure this vital service for the next 5 years.
