The Durant Independent School District is working in partnership with the State Department of Education and the State Department of Health to provide to community members information regarding the mitigation strategies for the spread of influenza and the 2009 H1N1 virus this school year. Our district has been allocated a small amount of H1N1 vaccine. We will start with vaccination of students at Washington Irving due to the high rate of absences.
