the members
A club is nothing without members and Duffus is blessed with a good company of members ranging from the very young to the ageless, active, social member. Club tournaments are well attended and have an atmosphere of fun and enjoyment, although there are sufficient members willing to play competitive tennis to field two gents teams and two ladies teams in league tournaments. The club currently has over 100 members but is always on the look out for new members and hopes that this number will continue to grow.
the tennis courts
The club benefits from four fantastic courts, recently relaid in sand/astro-turf surface. They provide an an all-year round playing surface that allows play in sure-footed confidence in dry, wet and even pretty cold temperatures (if you are really keen). The courts are situated within Duffus Park next to the children's play area. They can be accessed via Carslogie Road at entrance near bowling club or from Perth Road (up the track signposted Douglas Bader Gardens).
the floodlights
The club have recently invested in state of the art floodlights which provide clear, crisp light. Two of the four courts are floodlit which allows late night playing and play throughout the year - even in the darker months. The club is currently actively pursuing the possibility of illuminating a third court which would be beneficial for the early season league matches as well as increasing the number of courts available to members during the winter months.
