- The story begins when I got my first dehydrator and wanted to make a natural and tasty jerky snack without all the sodium and being tough as shoe leather for my sons. After working on a formula and ruining a few roasts I finally stumbled onto a combination that seemed to work. The test came when my sons tried it and couldn't get enough. As they shared with their friends people started to call and ask if I could make some for them... As the word of mouth of the jerky got out I was amazed at the places the orders were coming from, places such as Japan, Philippines, Canada, England as well as Iraq for my sons and their friends as they serve our country. The requests for the jerky has grown to the point that I had to make a decision. And after talking it over with my wife and family, They convinced me to take the next step and here I am.
