Columbus Drywall & Insulation was founded in 1969 by Clinton Barry and C.A. Lafon. Darvis Ostrander became a partner in 1972 and has been president since 1975. Ostrander was previously affiliated with National Gypsum Company for 14 years. The company has grown and expanded over the years, occupying several locations. Columbus Drywall & Insulation now occupies 27,000 sq. ft. of office and warehouse space for its materials and operations departments. There is also an additional 20,000 sq. ft.
