How Fulfillment Works
- Fulfillment is an outsource shipping service where your inventory is shipped from one or more distribution centers. To start, a bulk amount of inventory is shipped to Drop360 either from the retailer or directly from the manufacturer. The inventory is assigned SKUs via the online control panel and organized accordingly. When the retailer makes a sale he is able to log on and access his inventory in order the ship the order. Pick and pack services allow an order to contain multiple SKUs. The fulfillment staff will package the items with standard packaging materials (or you can provide your own). The order is shipped out within one business day and the retailer receives a confirmation email with a tracking number.
It is as simple as logging on and submitting an order. No need to hire staff to package and ship the orders or pay for costly storage space.
