- What is Project Ignition?
- Sponsored by State Farm© and coordinated by the National Youth Leadership Council (NYLC), Project Ignition is a program designed to give students, grades 9-12, and their teachers the chance to work together to address the issue of teen driving safety. Students in Chris Burts’ LACEP Leadership and Resiliency Class at SWHS were one of only 25 projects funded in the entire United States. If their project is chosen as one of the top 10, State Farm will fly the entire class to the National Service-Learning Conference in Albuquerque, NM in March to present their project and compete for the $10,000.00 top prize.
