Drive-Yourself Tours® began in 1994 and grew out of a need to provide travelers with economical road trips for their families in their own vehicles or in rental vehicles. Cassette tapes with maps were developed so that directions and approximate mileage would make driving simplified. Las Vegas was chosen as the main hub because of the millions of people who visit and because of all the magnificent local and world wonders that surround it.
By 2003, 9 unique tours are for sale on the world-wide market, ranging from a tour around the Las Vegas Valley to visits to Hoover Dam and to the Grand Canyon and much more. On-going production continues and tours have been developed for the states of Nevada, Arizona, California, and soon to come is Utah.
