Description
Many years of handling and restoring fine swords led to the foundation of Dragonfly Forge in 1987. Located on a hillside in the timber country of coastal Oregon, he now devotes himself to making fine swords.
His blades have won numerous awards at major knife shows and his work won Blade Magazine's Best Handmade award for 1997.
Gabriel Bell is the son of Michael Bell. He was born in San Francisco, California. Growing up, Gabriel spent much of his childhood in his father's shop. It almost seemed natural that he would take up his father's craft. By the time Gabriel was a teenager, he was making knives in his father's forge. Japanese style swords followed soon afterwards.
