- Today we slept til 7:30. Then, we spent 2 and a half hours doing laundry. Read a lot though. We went swimming and laid out to get some sun. We both got burnt. Went to the Kukio Grove Shopping Center and walked around a few of the local shops. Stopped at the farmer's market. Didn't recognize hardly any of the vegetables! Got a milkshake and a smoothie at the Cold Stone Creamery. Went to Walmart again to pick up a pack of doughnuts for breakfast tomorrow. Came back to the hotel and read some of our books and just relaxed. We went to Duke's Canoe Club for dinner tonight. Joe got steak and shrimp and I had Shrimp Scampi. Excellent! Tomorrow we leave the hotel at 10:00. We have to be at the airport 3 hours early because we're flying to the mainland. We have to go through an extra check (agricultural check) before all of the security. Our flight leaves at 1:20 local time, 7:20 p.m. Cumberland time. We should arrive at Dulles around 6:20 a.m. Wednesday. We'll be home around 10:30 if all goes well. We'll be at D'Atri's at 1:00. It's been a great vacation/ honeymoon. Can't wait to share all of our videos and photos with everyone. See you in 2 days. ALOHA!
