- About Dr. Merchant
- Dr. Merchant was born and raised in Pasadena, California. He graduated from John Muir High School in 1967. He received his undergraduate education at University of California, Berkeley and attended Georgetown University School of Medicine. He completed his Internship in Internal Medicine and his Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. He started his private practice in Pasadena in 1979 and was awarded certification by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1981.
