D.R.K.A. Construction is owned and operated by Dennis W. Johnson, Jr. He started the business in 1999 after working construction for 15 years. Denny is assisted in the business by his wife, Rhonda, who handles the bookkeeping and scheduling. Denny and Rhonda are both natives of Collinsville where they currently reside with their two daughters, Katie and Abby.
Any job worth doing is worth doing right. The Johnson's believe in hard work, honesty and good old fashion family values. They are very selective in hiring employees and sub-contractors, making sure that the people they hire adhere to the standards they set forth. Before beginning a new project, Denny and/or Rhonda will meet with the client to discuss their needs and review what options are available. After the initial meeting, a proposal will be prepared for the client to review before the work is started. This proposal includes computer generated drawings (so the client can have a visual concept of the project), an itemized cost projection and a payment schedule. This also assures that both the client and DRKA Construction have a clear understanding of the work to be completed.
