Durga Public School is promoted by Sh. Tikam Singh resident of Solan Himachal Pradesh. Promoter is young and having good knowledge and experience of this project. Promoter is very energetic and 35 years old. Sh. Tikam Singh passed his school from St. Luke’s School Solan in 1984-85 and after that did his graduation from D.A.V. college, CHANDIGARH (Punjab University). During his College days he was winner of the Punjab Inter College Cricket Tournament. In 1989-90, he represented Inter University Cricket Championship at New Delhi from Himachal Pradesh University Shimla. Further he played first class Cricket Matches in Ranji Trophy representing Himachal Pradesh. He played matches against the team, which had International Player like as Mr Kapil Dev, Mr Manoj Prabhker, Mr Navjot Singh Sidhu, Mr Ajay Judeja, Ajay Sharma etc. He belong to royal family and his forefathers were ruler of the Bhaghat Estate; presently know as SOLAN. His father is a businessman. His brother is running a Chemist Ship near Zonal hospital and having good turnover. The promoters started his business of Clinical Lab and X-ray center and also running transport business. The promoters was vice Chairman of The Jogindra Co-oprative Bank Limited, Solan for three years. He was also General Secretary of Solan Cricket Association.
