Description
The mission of the Medford Urban Renewal Agency is to eliminate blight and depreciating property values in areas within the Agency's jurisdiction and in the process, attract aesthetically pleasing, job producing private investments that will improve and stabilize property values and protect the area's historic places and values.
To accomplish its mission the Agency's Board will develop and implement through the City Center Revitalization Plan, a program that achieves the following goals and objectives for the Downtown:
Downtown is the traditional, historic, cultural and economic center of Medford, Jackson County and the Rogue Valley. Revitalization policies and activities should reinforce and enhance the position of Downtown Medford in the Region.
