Double D Equipment Co., Inc. was founded in 1977 by Woody Booher operating as a manufacturer's representative agency selling capital equipment to the industrial paint finishing industry with emphasis on industrial heat processing. Prior to 1977 Booher spent 10 years in sales and service for a major industrial oven manufacturer.
In 1994, Ray Cramer joined the company bringing 25 years of expertise in design engineering, specifically in the design of powder application equipment and process controls for the finishing industry. Cramer worked for several major manufacturers of paint application equipment, both wet and powder.
