- Like most wedding and portrait photographers, Dot began by taking pictures for her family and friends and was happy to be reimbursed for the cost of films and processing. Although Dot has been a serious photographer for more than 30 years, she was only able to devote part of her time to the craft. Until recently, she was a career federal employee. Known for her keen eye and ability to capture the moment, she was often asked to photograph major events for her organizations. Starting in the 1970’s, she was fortunate to have “traveling” jobs, and traveled throughout the United States, Australia, New Zealand, Fuji Islands, Japan, England, Germany and Switzerland photographing extraordinary pictures and creating a lifetime of memories. Dot is now able to work full time in her photography business.
