- Dorman Builders was founded in 1985. One project at a time, we took pride in creating and building custom decks, screened porches and finished basements. We offered quality work, creative solutions, and reliable installations. We quickly grew when our previous clients asked us back to provide them with larger scale remodeling projects around the home. We soon discovered that these projects required more from a contractor than just two guys with tools and a truck and still deliver the same quality service our clients expected. So, in early 1990, we decided to expand. Our mission: To be one of the best builders in the area in terms of quality and reliability.
