Description
First published in 1980 in New York Magazine Doreen Birdsell's career began photographing fashion. Her passion for shooting fashion on location evolved to also include wedding photography in 1987. Doreen Birdsell has photographed for many Fortune 500 companies and for numerous celebrities. She was commissioned to travel to Italy and Greece by a prominent archaeologist to photograph more than 25 archeological sites in a series titled "The Golden Age." The show had gallery exhibitions in both NYC and in Greenwich, CT. Over the past ten years she has been a contributing photographer for the American Cancer Society. Her color, black & white, and infrared images for events are captured in a documentary style. Her fashion background is evident in her work.
Our post production supervisor, Gemma-Rose Tummolo has overseen the installation of a fully equipped digital video editing suite in our Manhattan studio. We are currently authoring beautifully produced and packaged DVD and CD-ROM finished products of your events. Gemma-Rose oversees or personally edits every digital video project. She is a film and video editor whose career began in 1980 as a 35mm film editor cutting theatrical movie trailers, network commercials, and PBS documentaries.
Our staff videographer, Lisa Feistel, has been shooting digital video for Doreen Birdsell Studios since 1994. She shoots with a cinematic style to document every event unobtrusively. She regularly receives praise and appreciation for her thoughtful and artistic eye.
