We are a couple in their late thirties, who have 5 children between us. We have set up this site and helpline to support other families going through the emotional roller coaster of not having regular contact with their children after separation or divorce.
Parental Alienation Syndrome is the cause behind many situations of contact breakdown. I have researched this syndrome and after many hours have simplified it. I have also researched its origins and techniques used on the children. Please visit the “Understanding PAS” page and “PAS techniques used” pages and see if this is you.
PAS is a type of child abuse, which is akin to brainwashing the children against a parent. It is not well known here in the United Kingdom, but better known in America and Europe. We need help to get this syndrome recognized here. If you think this is you and your family, then tell us. Help us to change the way the courts and judges think. All of us can make a difference, but we need to inform and help everyone understand.
