Teletask was formed as a California corporation in early 1989, and is located in Fair Oaks, California. The primary purpose of the corporation in its early years was to develop and implement PC based computer telephony solutions for the public and private sectors.
Teletask currently provides a variety of applications that include voice mail, automated attendant, audio text, order entry, interactive voice response, FAX response, call sequencing, automated call distribution (ACD), autodialer, and various application linked databases.
More recently Teletask has developed new services/products that involve appointment scheduling, internet based training/education, emergency notification, and nutrition education modules. In many cases these new services link to the telephony applications. For example an Internet version of Teletask's Appointment Scheduler can link a number of geographically dispersed clinics in real time to the main server that contains the centralized scheduling database as well as the autodialer that automaticallly reminds patients of their appointments.
