On September 13, 2007, one month shy of her 15th birthday, Sammy slipped from this world. How will we know its time for her to go? Do we do it at home on her favorite pillow? Do we take her to her beloved vet? How will we know what to do? How will we know it won't hurt, that she won't be scared? How will we let Toby know she is gone? How will we let her go? I don't know. Steve doesn't know. We just live it and do it.
