Does My Tum Look Big In This was set up in 2001 and is run by Natalie Gladman. Natalie and her husband Clive have three children, James, Isaac and Madeline. The business was originally formed as a work-from-home business and is still very much a family concern (even Nat's mum gets involved!), and the business is still run from home.

Natalie decided to set up Does My Tum Look Big In This following her frustrating experiences of trying to find a decent maternity dress for a Christmas function - heavily pregnant (Madeline was born on 28th December) and with very little choice in the High Streert and only dowdy old-fashioned designs available from certain other dress agencies (great if you like the drop-waisted, bows and frills, big puffy sleeeved 80's look!), Natalie believed that if she was experiencing these issues then many more women must be in the same position. She was also unwilling to spend hundreds of pounds on a dress that she really would only wear once (and the usual purchase justification that she 'really would wear this expensive evening dress next Christmas' just wasn't washing with hubbie this time...) There were no real alternatives to this dilemna until.... (fanfare!) Does My Tum Look Big In This was born (no pun intended!)
