D & D Specialties / Armadillo Sales was started in 1999 by my wife and I and a confederation of local repair shops and several manufacturers. It peaked in sales in 2002. Due to health reasons we cut back the business and now the business end is run by my wife and I. We still work closely with two local repair shops and have built relationships with many manufacturers.
My wife's background in cleaning goes back to when she was five years old going out with her father to work. He owned a large local cleaning company for many years. My wife continued to work for him on a part time basis through the first five years of our marriage. She has worked in sales for our janitorial/carpet business and worked as the business manager of our large service and supply company.
My background in cleaning goes back to when I was 15 years old cleaning satellite banks and the truck barn for PG & E in California. Through the years I have done janitorial and hard floor contracting, carpets, worked for a two large repair businesses. I have run a large repair business and am currently taking care of Armadillo Sales and doing some encapsulation carpet cleaning with my fleet of Cimex machines.
