- With an interest in DJing spanning many years, Spice’s career began on the house party circuit as part of the ‘Buzz Boys’ entourage, mixing up Rare Groove, Funk, Hip-Hop and early House music. Earning a reputation for mashing up the dance in next to no time, Spice soon made the logical step up to pirate radio, gaining a regular slot on London’s infamous Fantasy FM. The capitals biggest station at the time, Fantasy was partly responsible for the imminent explosion of House within the UK and threw regular events at the legendary Astoria, where Spice soon found himself resident. Rinsing the tunes of the early 90’s to 2,000 people every Saturday night, the early life signs of Drum’n’Bass began to creep into his sets.
