My name is Barry Michaels and I have been a DJ for over 20 years. I was raised in Charlotte, NC where I started working as a top 40 radio DJ right out of high school.
After about 18 years of being moved all around in radio due to format and ownership changes, (Ie. all of the above stations are now something else) I decided to start my own mobile DJ company. So in 1995 I started "Barry's Mobile DJ Service" as a full time business. I sub-contracted out my services to some of those big entertainment companies for awhile. But by 1999, with lots of hard work, I had built up such a good reputation I was able go out completely on my own. My business has done nothing but go up since then. On January 1st of 2005 I changed the name of the company to "DJ Barry Productions".
Thanks for the great job you did at my wedding. A friend of mine, who was at my wedding, wants to use your service for a graduation party.
