Overview
Discovery is an independent Christian church located in the growing Denver suburb of Broomfield, Colorado…about half way between Boulder and Denver…where new residential and hi-technology commercial development present tremendous opportunity for us to fulfill our mission.
History
Discovery was established in 1998 as a church planting collaboration of five organizations including two local churches, one local church planting organization, a church from the Midwest and a church planting organization out of New York City.
Location
Although we currently meet for Sunday worship and some special events in a grade school that is adequate for our needs, we have executed a successful capital fund-raising project that has enabled us to acquire an 18-acre parcel of land in a growing area of Broomfield. This campaign, called “The Journey”, has, so far, received commitments of nearly $600,000.
