Description
Born in the Philippines and moved to Maui before he could walk;went to Puunene School,[Puunene,Maui,Hawaii] and graduated from Baldwin High School[Wailuku,Maui,Hawaii]. To learn more about music and drama Paul attended Kansas University in Lawrence,Kansas as well as Maui Community College in Kahului,Maui,Hawaii and El Camino College in Torrance,CA.
Paul Cavin began performing at the age of 12 at local talent contests,private parties,and special events including live radio shows at KMVI in Wailuku,Maui,Hawaii. He also performed at the Maui Lu in Kihei,Maui;the Sheraton Hotel at Kaanapali Beach,Maui; and the Pioneer Inn in Lahaina,Maui as well as the Maui Palms and the Maui Hukilau in Kahului,Maui. In California Paul Cavin has performed at the Orange County Fair[Costa Mesa,CA]the LA County Fair[Pomona,CA] as well as the Doce Robles Wine Festival[Paso Robles,CA];San Luis Obispo Street Fair[San Luis Obispo,CA];Orange International Street Fair[Orange,CA];Glendora,San Dimas,Palm Springs,San Gabriel,and Covina Street Fairs and at weddings,birthdays,anniversaries and special events such as the American Cancer Societys' Relays for Life[Glendora and San Dimas,CA];Soroptimists Annual Fundraiser[San Dimas,CA];Saint Joseph Festival[Pomona,CA];Our Lady of Guadalupe [Irwindale,CA];4th of July Celebrations at Lake Arrowhead,CA and others.
Paul Cavin has also performed the National Anthem on ESPN-TV for the NHRA/AutoClub Finals at the Pomona Raceway[Pomona,CA],as well as the Winston/AutoClub 300 in Fontana,CA on Fox TV and also has been featured on 'Entertainment Tonight'.
