Dirac Research AB was founded in June 2001. Our business idea is to develop, market, and license quality improving products for all kinds of audio reproduction systems.
The roots of Dirac Research are at the Signals & Systems Group of Uppsala University, in Sweden, where the founders have been conducting research in signal processing and systems modeling for many years. From these fields of research came the idea for what is now the focus of our company: To help our customers improve their sound!
Our customers are themselves competing in the audio market and we help them in that competition by offering a simple way to increase their margins. We help them by applying our thorough experience and knowledge from our research background on their specific problems, equipped with our patented toolbox for quick and accurate analysis and low-cost improvement of audio systems.
